Contactless processes through digital remote inquiry - Minimized costs and processing times
Solingen, April 14, 2020 - Broadgun Software has added a function for mobile remote signature retrieval to its proven pdfMachine. The "pdfMachine Sign here" allows contracts and other agreements to be signed without the need for the contracting parties to be present in person.

In the first step, the corresponding document must be converted into a PDF file using pdfMachine. It is then augmented by the required signature fields, which can be generated at the push of a button, completed with name and time stamp, and moved to the desired position with the mouse. During this process step, an e-mail address can also be stored to which an automatic notification is sent after the signature has been signed.
In the second step, the pdfMachine Sign here generates a link that must be copied by the sender and sent to the business partners. They can open the PDF document on their PC or mobile device and sign it in three different ways. The choice is between signing directly on the display or uploading an existing image file. The third option requires a smartphone with a reader app for QR codes. With this variant, the business partner can sign on the display of his mobile phone.
Meanwhile, the sender can monitor the process progress on his client and download the signed PDF document immediately. "With pdfMachine Sign here, contracts and other documents can be signed contactless within minutes, which significantly accelerates and simplifies business processes. Added to this are the health, climate and economic effects, whereby our software pays for itself within a very short time," explains Hans Jörg Nolden, co-owner of Broadgun Software GbR.
Even with the basic version pdfMachine Office, reports, presentations, calculations, offers, invoices, drawings or other important documents of all kinds can be converted directly from the respective software program into the universal and unchangeable PDF format. The creation works via the print command, whereby the "Broadgun pdfMachine" is selected instead of the usual printer. Afterward, individual pages of the PDF file can be moved, added, deleted or combined with existing PDF files.
Various security settings, print resolutions or the selection of personalized stationery allow an individual configuration. In addition, pdfMachine can be used to conveniently combine any number of documents from different printable applications into a single PDF file.
In addition, the pdfMachine Pro version can integrate electronic signatures in a legally compliant manner, which can come from your own sources or from third-party providers. Thanks to its ease of use, this version opens the door to electronic signatures for small and medium-sized companies. Even business-critical documents can, therefore, be sent quickly and cost-effectively by e-mail. Process security is guaranteed by an advanced certificate from a trust center that complies with the regulations of the German Signature Act (SigG) and the Signature Ordinance of the European Union (SigV).
Broadgun Software has developed the pdfMachine Ultimate version for the best possible integration into its own business processes and their extensive automation. With its powerful parameter control, the program can be fully integrated into ERP systems or into technical and industry-specific IT landscapes. It makes no difference whether the solutions are from SAP, Navision, MS Dynamics NAV, RIB-Software, Sage, Lexware or Nemetschek.
With an order processing function in conjunction with pdfMachine Ultimate, for example, an offer or invoice can be created and e-mailed directly to the recipient as a PDF file at the touch of a button. Parameter control can be used to control whether a specific letterhead and digital signature are used during the conversion process. It is also possible to automatically save the document in a predefined directory or archive. pdfMachine receives the invoice recipient's address and the text used in the e-mail from the ERP system.
